Oracle Security Advisory Released 7/19/22

Oracle released its quarterly security report on 7/19/22. Parsing through this advisory for the specific patches is always an adventure in web surfing for me, and I thought I'd share what I found as it relates to the EPM stack, specifically the 11.2 on-premise stack.

I'll start with the Middleware, as most quarterly patches apply to fixes in the middleware, this seems like the best place to start. Middleware includes WebLogic, and its supporting technologies (ADR, Coherence, etc.…), Oracle HTTP Server, and in many cases ODI.

In July's Advisory for Middleware, I found:

WebLogic version 12.2.1.4:

  • ADR For WebLogic |

    • 33639718 ADR FOR WEBLOGIC SERVER 12.2.1.4.0 CPU JUL 2022 (Patch)

  •  Coherence for WebLogic |

    • 34248976 Coherence 12.2.1.4 Cumulative Patch 14 (12.2.1.4.14) (Patch)

  • WebLogic Server |

    • 34236279 WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.2.1.4.220602 (Patch)

  • Oracle HTTP Server 12.2.1.4 |

    • 34257860 OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.4.220608 (Patch)

Beyond these patches for the Middleware, I searched for any EPM related patches, and I could not find any. The above patches are what I consider relevant to the 11.2 EPM stack.
