Oracle EPM 11.2.8 Still Requires .NET 3.5 for HFM

If you are utilizing the EPM Certification Matrix spreadsheet from Oracle, note that it is not entirely accurate at this time. Microsoft’s .NET 3.5 is not mentioned in the document at all. .NET 4.7 is mentioned but only for DRM. However, the configuration of HFM in 11.2.8 still attempts to find and install .NET 3.5 and gives errors if it is not found installed on the server:

As it is common for cloud-based installations of the Microsoft operating systems to not include the files necessary for adding the .NET 3.5 feature, missing this requirement can lead to costly delays in your EPM implementation.
